RED Aircraft

We announced that we have selected RED Aircraft’s RED A03 engine for use in the base and hybrid-electric configurations of the Airlander 10 aircraft.

Collins Aerospace & University of Nottingham

In June we announced key progress on our E-HAV1 programme. The critical design review was completed and Collins Aerospace have started fabrication of the 500 kilowatt electric motor for Airlander 10.
ILC Dover

We confirmed that ILC Dover would be the provider of the hull for the production Airlander 10. The hull is made from a state-of-the-art flexible laminate. ILC Dover are world leaders in the innovative design and production of engineered flexible protective solutions and are therefore perfectly placed to deliver this key component.
Naval Postgraduate School

We signed a Cooperative Research and Development Agreement (CRADA) with the United States Naval Postgraduate School. This allows us to collaborate on an evaluation of hybrid aircraft technologies in military applications. We hosted the Naval Postgraduate School team a few months ago with work progressing quickly. University of Sheffield Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre

HAV and the AMRC signed a teaming agreement that means we will work together to identify projects developing research, innovation, and training linked to HAV’s Airlander 10 production. The AMRC is a world-class centre for research into advanced manufacturing technologies and we look forward to working closely with them. Explore the relationship here.
Funding news
In August we announced our first institutional investment in the form of a $200 million post-listing commitment from GEM Global Yield LLC SCS. Our CFO, Hwfa Gwyn, explained what this means for HAV in a new article.
A top 50 most influential project
