John Schumacher is a distinguished leader in government, aerospace and international organisations who led NASA’s work on a new Vision for U.S. Space Exploration, strengthened U.S. missile and Space capabilities and advanced humankind’s reach into Space. He was a key leader in reinvigorating Aerojet Rocketdyne, America’s premier rocket propulsion manufacturer for hypersonics, missiles and NASA. He also served as President of AR’s Foundation, growing the funds available to support local communities. John was NASA Chief of Staff and played a crucial role in Space Shuttle Return to Flight and formulation of a Vision for U.S. Space Exploration. He also led NASA’s reach globally, guiding 400 agreements with international partnering worth over $15B. He served for decades as a Naval Officer, commanding four Reserve units. Schumacher received a B.S. with distinction from the U.S. Naval Academy; a M.A. from Georgetown University; a Juris Doctor from Columbia University with honors in International Law; and is a member of the New York Bar. His awards include Senior Executive Service Presidential Rank (3); NASA’s highest award, the Distinguished Service Medal (3); and Department of Defense Legion of Merit (2).

Walter Kreitler is a retired U.S. Navy Captain with a distinguished career in Maritime Patrol and Reconnaissance, amassing over 3,500 flight hours and commanding Patrol Special Projects Squadron ONE through multiple global deployments. His service included senior operational and staff roles with the Joint Chiefs of Staff, the Navy Staff, and as Dean of Faculty at the National Defense University’s Industrial College of the Armed Forces. Following his Navy career, Walt held leadership positions with L-3 Communications and Northrop Grumman, where he oversaw global business development for the Unmanned Mission Systems Division. As co-founder of Nine Line Solutions, he continues to support international defense and technology clients, and in 2025 became a founding member of Hybrid Air Vehicles USA. He holds degrees from the Virginia Military Institute, Naval Postgraduate School, and Industrial College of the Armed Forces.
