Regional connectivity onboard Airlander

The ERAA General Assembly 2026 brings the regional aviation industry together in Belfast from 6–8 October. This year’s theme, The future of regional aviation: connectivity at a crossroads, puts the connections between communities at the heart of the conversation. Across three days, delegates will share ideas on the challenges and opportunities ahead.

Jonathan Sumner, Passenger Markets Director Jonathan leads the business development and sales strategy for Airlander 10 across its passenger applications. His background includes; marketing in major international airlines including United Airlines and Delta Air Lines, entrepreneurial roles in a range of start-ups, new ventures and new technologies, leading the go-to-market strategy for the Farnborough F1 air taxi, and leading the launch of on-demand private jet platform Victor as Managing Director. Passionate about tackling climate change through new technology, Jonathan sees HAV and Airlander as a major opportunity to decarbonise regional aviation.

The future of technology

Jonathan will join the Future of Technology panel to discuss where emerging aircraft could make the biggest difference. He’ll share how Airlander could help connect underserved regions with major hubs while offering a lower-emission way to travel.
